อีกหนึ่งข่าวดีล่าสุดของวงการเมกอัพก็คือ CoverGirl เมกอัพแบรนด์สัญชาติอเมริกันได้ประกาศตัวมาเป็นแบรนด์ Cruelty Free เรียบร้อยแล้ว จึงทำให้ตอนนี้ CoverGirl กลายเป็นแบรนด์ Cruelty Free ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในอุตสาหกรรมแบรนด์เครื่องสำอาง โดยสาวๆ จะเห็นได้จากการแพ็คเกจจิ้งที่จะมีคำว่า "Cruelty Free" ระบุไว้ด้านหน้าและด้านหลังก็จะมีสัญลักษณ์รับรองที่เรียกว่า Leaping Bunny Certified จึงเป็นอีกหนึ่งข่าวใหญ่ที่ตอกย้ำการให้ความสำคัญกับการสัตว์และสิ่งแวดล้อมมากขึ้น
