I can't believe it took me this long to test this out seeing how this is a cult favorite. ▫️ . Essence had a milky-creamy consistency and was in abundance. Despite containing only 25 g of essence, I managed to scoop out 2 palms full of essence, slathered one palm full on my face, then spilled the other on the counter, and shamelessly scooping it off for the rest for my body. #smotd: Sulwhasoo Clarifying Mask _____ I've been lusting after this mask for the longest time! This gentle peel-off mask removes impurities and dead skin cells to detoxify and clarify skin. Alcohol is listed as the second ingredient so if you're allergic to it, please avoid. ▫️ . Consistency and color reminded me of honey! Not so much the scent though, it smelled like a mixture of ginseng and alcohol. I had to test this twice because I'm not one to read instructions and did not know that I was supposed to apply an emulsion prior to this mask. ▫️ . In the first try, I applied a really thin layer on bare skin. It took about 10 mins to dry down completely. The peel-off process was painful and though my pores were clean, my skin was highly irritated. ▫️ . In the second try, I applied an emulsion followed by a thicker layer of product ???? The dry down time took longer, about 20 mins. But it was such a breeze to peel off, my skin looked glowy with clean pores! ▫️ . ???? #Smotd: #Bano Baby Face Injection Mask courtesy of the peeps @bano.english. This came in a series of 4 masks, with 4 different functions and sheet mask materials. I absolutely love the pastel packaging! This mask contains peptide as the main ingredient to restore skin elasticity and prevent saggy skin. Out of the packet, I detected a perfumey fragrance. The cotton material has medium thickness and was very pliable. Essence was viscous and milky. Fit and adherence were ????. I sneezed with this on and nothing happened (@yumsylee ????). The masking session lasted 45 mins, there was a thin layer of essence left on my skin. While patting the essence in, I noticed how soft and smooth my skin feels! Baby Face indeed! Here comes the magic. As the essence continues to dry down to a non-sticky finish, my skin started to look dewier, brighter and tighter! I could actually feel the firming action going on. A couple of hours later, my skin looks super smooth with teeny tiny pores. My redness was brought down just a tiny bit. Day 3 of #MaskMadness hosted by @maskaddict and @mapletreeblog: ????Flower????. I chose @Garnierusa Sakura White Pinkish Radiance Intensive Whitening Mask. This was kindly gifted to me by my lovely cousins as part of a birthday gift. Notable ingredients are niacinamide and Sakura extract. This contains methylparaben, sensitive skin users beware. Out of the packet, it gave off a very perfumey scent, kinda like cherry blossoms perfume. The soft cottony fabric has a baby pink tinge, most likely from the essence, and does not come with a backing so I had to unfold it really carefully to prevent tearing. It came with multiple cuts and a deep cut right through the middle of the face, which helps with the fit and adherence. However, I wish the eye holes were bigger and not so close set. I had this on for about 20 mins because I really couldn't stand the scent. My skin does look more even and bright. I patted in the remaining essence and it dried down to a matte finish, perfect for daytime and under makeup.
